Please help!! What can I call my World War Two drama?

I have written a script for my Graduation Showcase. It is about a mother and a daughter in the second world war. Throughout the play the characters speak in a series of monologues. It is only at the end of the play that the audience realise that the mother died in the war and is a ghost.

I never know titles so your help would be really appreciated!!

I hear a lot of bad titles day in day out. Bad titles are: melodramatic; overcomplicated; irrelevant to the play; clumsy to say; generic; dull.



To get a good title for your play, think about the underlying themes for the play. Think about the images you've used. Think about a line of the play which sums it up for you. Write down what the play is about in a paragraph, and look at what words jump out at you.



You haven't mentioned about your themes or images so I can't really suggest a title. But besides, *you* need to pick one as it's not just a label to make the play sound nice - it's a statement about the piece; it tells the audience what to expect; it tells the person hearing it what *you* think it's about.



And before you stick on one... Google it together with the word "play" and see what comes up!
