My mom won't let me act and anyone know if John Robert Powers is good?

So I want to get involved in the industry but my mom thinks I'm going to get messed up and crazy but I love acting and she just does not understand! It's my life and she doesn't get it!
And does anyone know if John Robert Powers is good? Ihave heard it is a spam and probably costs a lot but many people are successful and Coast to Coast agency from LA is going! So would it be a good idea to go? I just need my mom to say yes! Thanks for the help! :)

John Robert Powers is a notorious scam. You go to their bogus audition, they give you a big song and dance about how much potential you have, then they try to sell you some ridiculously expensive classes that won't do anything to help your acting career. John Robert Powers has such a bad reputation in the industry that having them on your resume can actually hurt your chances of getting legitimate work.

JRP is a school. they can't get you on anything. they are considered a scam. they cost around 2 grand. you need to understand this doesn't just involve your life. this is extremely time consuming and expensive to do. one of your parents will have to drop what their doing and actively do this with you.

you won't be doing anything on your own as a minor. your mom will need to go there with you, not

just say it's ok for you to go.

just get involved in school plays n local theatre until u convince ur mum. make her cme to every play.
