You can become an actress and possibly work in Korea, but you can't become Korean any more than Linda Hunt became a man when she played Billy Kwan in "The Year of Living Dangerously." You might even be able to play Korean characters, though, just as Anthony Hopkins portrayed Othello despite being white. Skilled actors can convince us they're whatever characters they portray, regardless of their differences from those characters.

In all honesty I think it's not possible. As you can see from Korean movies and dramas, they're all Korean. Also, Korean fans are pretty harsh. Even for American (white people) actors, it's rare that they even become popular. So my answer is yes, it is slightly possible for you, but will you become famous or recognized? I hardly think so. I'm not trying to be mean, but realistic. Sorry! But you don't necessarily have to be a Korean actress, so don't stop your passion for acting :]

It is possible, and if you look Asian you should be fine, but Korean audiences are very critical about the whole "You aren't Korean" thing sometimes... so you might not become EXTREMELY popular like Jang Geun Seuk or Yoon Eunhye. -But you might get some decent roles in some good movies.

You have to work hard though! Like HARD HARD! Show the Korean market what you're made of! Because hard work is taken seriously there! The harder you work, the more likable you become.

(But you have to learn Korean fluently first of course X3)

GOOD LUCK!
