I'm auditioning for the show "The Who's Tommy" in a few weeks and it's based off of the album Tommy by The Who. I'm auditioning for all open female roles in the chorus and also the role of Sally Simpson. I only have 1 to 2.5 minutes to sing. What kind of music, or what specific songs, should I sing if my vocal range is E3 to B5?

Yes, it is best that you sing a song from a musical if you are auditioning for a musical, preferably in the same style of the show. Sing a rock-style song. Try these; some are more well-known than others:

Easy to Be Hard - Hair

How Lovely to Be a Woman - Bye Bye Birdie

Jeanette's Showbiz Number - The Full Monty

Life with Harold - The Full Monty

Mama Who Bore Me - Spring Awakening

My Strongest Suit - Aida

Rolling Stock - Starlight Express

Toucha-Toucha-Touch Me - Rocky Horror Picture Show

Ugly Boy - Bat Boy

in case you % some thing that relatively shows off your soprano variety, you will desire to attempt some thing from secret backyard, possibly "How would desire to I Ever understand" - additionally "gentle in the Piazza" has some relatively amazing Soprano songs -which includes "the ask your self Is", "the gentle in the Piazza" and counting on how good of an actress you're, "myth"
